The man who is lying in state,
Is now well beyond love, beyond hate.
He let our hopes rust,
Watched our dreams turn to dust.
His legacy? Bengal out-of-date.
Men may come and men indeed may go, Can doctrinal nonsense one ever let go? Theories they are trashed across nations, They yet manage to ignite our passions; Give them a kick and force them to go.
