For the man who let us down

The man who is lying in state,
Is now well beyond love, beyond hate.
He let our hopes rust,
Watched our dreams turn to dust.
His legacy? Bengal out-of-date.

  4. Men may come and men indeed may go,
    Can doctrinal nonsense one ever let go?
    Theories they are trashed across nations,
    They yet manage to ignite our passions;
    Give them a kick and force them to go.
