Environmental activists have claimed Earth Hour to be a huge success. When asked whether he had done his bit to contribute to the success of the campaign, our intrepid reporter InkSpot, who generally is an active supporter of all causes, had this to say:
It's true, warming's heating up our
Planet Earth. 'Switch off lights for an hour'-
I thought I'd promote,
This cause with my vote,
But couldn't. Why? We had no power!
Oops, there is load-shedding (power outage) again as we speak!

You brought out the irony here in verse. Indians probably have several earth hours to their credit due to load-shedding. So we dont really have the load (burden) of guilt anyway.
