NDTV 18/10/06: Justice has finally been meted out in the Priyadarshini Mattoo case 10 years after the young law student was raped and murdered in her south Delhi home.The Delhi High Court on Tuesday convicted former IPS officer's son Santosh Kumar Singh on both counts and set aside his acquittal by a lower court, terming it as "perverse". well everyone is going ga ga about justice being meted out...... is it really so.... how about all those university/college authorities who did nothing when she was being troubled by that guy..... how about the police that could not handle the case properly earlier....... I mean do we have to wait for someone to be raped and murdered before we can knock at the court for justice??? I think its a failure and it will always remain so
