Ended in a terrible frustration
And losing her head
She shot herself dead
So much for the army as a vocation!
She had joined, only to find
To ‘supplies’, she had been assigned
Her duties were a fright
Attending parties at night
And ‘catering’ – she lost peace of mind.
For the army she may have been a catch
But when roles and desires are mismatch
It has often been found
That such tragedies abound
